Protect the Coastal Plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge
Tell Congress to Permanently Protect the Coastal Plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge
Called “America’s Serengeti” for its tremendous biological productivity and diversity, the coastal plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is one of the most intact and untouched ecosystems in America. Unfortunately, this unparalleled 1.5 million acre habitat has never received permanent wilderness protection. There is currently legislation in both chambers of Congress that would permanently protect the coastal plain as wilderness.
Write to your members of Congress today and tell them to support the Arctic Wilderness Act to permanently protect the coastal plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Personalized messages are the most effective. Edit the letter below to let your members of Congress know why permanent protection of the coastal plain is important to YOU.
